DeepSeek API Pricing

DeepSeek prices its official API around two active models and a peak / off-peak clock. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash is the volume tier at $0.30 / $1.20 per million tokens in peak hours, and DeepSeek V4 Pro is the flagship at $1.32 / $3.96. Off-peak hours cut both schedules in half. Peak windows are 01:00–04:00 and 06:00–10:00 UTC, Monday–Friday excluding Chinese public holidays; everything else is off-peak. Cached input is billed separately on both models, and no Batch tier is published on the official pricing page.

Only Flash and V4 Pro appear in the official table below. DeepSeek R1 / deepseek-reasoner was retired from the official API on 2026-07-24, so this site does not invent an official R1 price. Where R1 is still sold, it is through gateways such as Novita at that gateway’s own rates and is labeled as gateway pricing on the Novita provider and model pages — never mixed into this official table.

Figures below are DeepSeek’s official API list prices from api-docs.deepseek.com, each stamped with a verification date. The table shows peak rates as the main price; off-peak is half those rates on the same peak windows above. Full peak and off-peak rates plus monthly cost examples are in our DeepSeek API pricing article. Model-page calculators use the peak list price as the primary rate. Consumer apps and third-party gateways use different schedules and are not mixed in.
