Kimi API Pricing
Kimi (Moonshot AI) prices its global API in USD on a flat pay-as-you-go schedule. Kimi K3.1 Pro is the current flagship at $2 / $10 per million tokens, K3.1 Pro Highspeed doubles the regular input and output rates for roughly 2–3× speed while keeping cache hits at $0.20, and previous-generation Kimi K3 sits at $3 / $15. All three share a 1M-token context window with no long-context surcharge.
The K2 line (K2.6, K2.7 Code, K2.7 Code Highspeed) still has independent USD rows on the official pricing page, but it is closing: newly registered users lose access from October 31, 2026, and Moonshot plans to retire the whole K2 series by the end of December 2026. Prefer K3.1 Pro for new work. Batch API discounts currently cover K2.6 / K2.7 Code only (60% of standard); K3 Batch remains unpublished.
Caching is automatic for repeated prefixes: cache hits are billed at the cached-input rate, and K3 cache writes are a separate line item by TTL (5 minutes or 1 hour). The calculator on each model page uses the cache-hit rate for cached tokens and does not auto-add write fees. Figures below are official USD rates from platform.kimi.ai, verified and dated. CNY prices on platform.moonshot.cn and Kimi consumer memberships are separate products and are never mixed into this table. Fully retired K2.5 / moonshot-v1 aliases are omitted.
